Q: What is a Rapid Fire Controller?
A: A Rapid Fire Controller gives a button the ability to imitate rapid Left & Right trigger pulls with the push of a button. A "Stealth rapid fire mod" means that there aren't any additional buttons installed on the controller, the mod is built right into the trigger. Click your sync button to switch between rapid fire modes. As for Single Rapid Fire and a Dual Rapid Fire mod, we install a small but durable button on the back side of the Xbox controller (Left or Right trigger still functions normally. Consider the Rapid Fire Button a second L or R trigger on your Xbox controller.)
Q: Is the button in the way of where my hands will rest on the back side of the modded controller?
A: No, not one bit. It actually feels as if the installed rapid fire button was meant to be there.

A: Yes. For most first person shooter games, our custom modded controllers are ready! Black Ops Rapid Fire Mod Ready! Halo Reach Rapid Fire Mod Ready! Medal of Honor Rapid Fire Mod Ready! Almost any game, Rapid Fire Mod Ready!! If you can shoot at it, you can rapid fire mod it. That includes games like Grand Theft Auto, where shooting is a secondary function.
Q: Will the rumble function still be available?
A: Yes, nothing will be removed from your custom Xbox controller unless you ask for it to be. In fact, it flashes even more with our Rumble LED's.
Q: Shell Shock, bullet ABXY buttons looks awesome, but does it work or make it harder to push the buttons?
A: Our Shell Shock Custom Bullets that replace your A B X Y buttons are FULLY functioning buttons. They're just as moveable as your other buttons. If anything, the buttons work BETTER because you can feel your buttons better now.
Q: Is this legal (rapid fire)?
A: Absolutely. You own your controller. But rapid fire mods that are installed will void the manufacturer warranty of the controller (not a big deal). Also, there's not way for your Xbox to know that you have a modded Xbox controller.
Q: Can I use this controller in a game with auto-detect, like Call of Duty 5?
A: We make these rapid fire controllers for private use. However, on Xbox live, our rapid fire mod chip resets after every game - so in the rare event that you are detected, ProModz rapid fire goes back to normal for that round - and the next round is back on and fully functioning. Rapidly. Also, our 8-mode stealth rapid fire is an Undetectable Mod. So even in games that have a Rapid Fire blocker, our rapid fire mods work around that patch.
Q: Does your mod work with the latest patch of COD5?
A: Yes, our 8-mode mod works fully with the COD 5 patch. Most other mods on the market do not.
(We stay on top of the latest mods and patches, but even we can't guarantee a mod will work with every future patch.)
Q: Your custom Xbox controller paint jobs are crazy, but does the paint last?
A: Yes. We at ProModz actually have a specially designed paint formula that adheres specifically to the type of plastic that makes up an xbox controller. Also, there is no other kind of paint that is more expensive what we use. We use only the BEST in Automotive paint, custom designed to hand air brush each one of our custom controllers.
Q: How long should it take to receive my controller?
A: From the time we receive your order, you can expect us to complete it in 7-10 business days, NOT including shipping time. Because of the custom, made-to-order nature of the product, some extra time may be allotted to order special parts, drying time, etc. When the weather is bad here at the ProModz office, we have to wait for better weather in order to paint. But! We live in SUNNY SAN DIEGO California, so it's sunny here 90% of the year.
Q: How will I know when my order is shipped?
A: You will be notified via USPS when your order is shipped. This will provide a delivery confirmation as well. Please note: sometimes the email will be sent to your spam folder.
Q: Does the NEW version 8-Mode Stealth work with COD Black Ops??
A: it doesn't just work, it DOES work. our Black Ops Rapid Fire mod is insane, and by far faster than any competition that we may have. not only is it an insane fast black ops mod, but it also seems to be a patch proof mod. This means, that if a patch comes out to block our rapid fire mod, our mods will probably be the only one left standing!
Q: My 8-Mode Stealth doesn't work?
A: Take off the battery pack, and put it back on. Click the sync button 4-5 times (go through all modes at least once) and the problem should be solved. If not, try brand new batteries (not cheap batteries, use name brand like Duracell or energizer) .
Q: My Ring of Light/Player indicator LEDs seem dim, what can I do?
A: Use a fresh pack of batteries... it always does the trick! (A fresh set of batteries also gives you a millisecond advantage over your foe.) Note: BlackLight LED's are dimmer by nature, but still awesome.
Q: Can I get around the COD4 patch with single or dual RF?
A: Yes! Just use Double Tap in your perks list. That will make your Single Rapid Fire mod, or Dual Rapid Fire mod insane fast again.
Q: How can I make my mod last for the life of the controller?
A: Do not use Play and Charge. Also, use the same battery type when changing your batteries. Try to replace both batteries at the same time - you don't want one half power battery and one full.
Q: Can I get a different color rumble fire other than Raging Red?
A: You could, but after installing thousands of of rumble fire, the best and brightest color is red. Please realize that the light has to shine THROUGH the green plastic. Most colors look distorted and lame that way. Red is the way to go! Plus, it looks more like a gun when you shoot. Cool. :)

A: Easy! First, familiarize yourself with our products, review the information on how much our Rapid Fire is, how much LEDs, PS3 Analogs, Rumble fire, etc... is.
