Khameleon Lit
We install the LATEST in LED technology into your Guide button ( The big green X on your controller). This mod makes your Guide button constantly change colors while the remote is on. It changes from Blue to Orange to Red to Aqua, to white to yellow to amber to purple to pink. Every 4 seconds the color changes to the next. Please note that only certain controllers can take this mod. The only one that has it at the moment is the Blue Tiger.
What Are LEDs?
LED's or Light Emitting Diodes, are real unsung heroes in the electronics world and our FAVORITE kind of light here at ProModz. LEDs do dozens of different jobs and are found in all kinds of devices. Among other things, they form the numbers on digital clocks, transmit information from remote controls, light up watches and tell you when your appliances are turned on. Collected together, they can form images on a jumbo television or illuminate a traffic light.
Basically, LEDs are just tiny light bulbs that fit easily into an electrical circuit. But unlike ordinary incandescent bulbs, they don't have a filament that will burn out, which is GREAT for an Xbox controller because you usually have them on for hours at a time. They also don't get especially hot, again GREAT for a controller. They also come in a huge array of colors, but its extremely hard to find some of them. This is where our nerds at ProModz come in, scouring the internet for special deals (which we pass along to you) and Colors that no one's ever heard of before. LEDs are illuminated solely by the movement of electrons in a semiconductor material, and they last just as long as a standard transistor which is an EXTREMELY long time. Did you know Blue lasts the longest, can be the brightest, and is the most energy efficient? Cool, huh?
*Blacklight LED's are not as bright as other colors, as is the nature of blacklight. But hold it up to your white shirt, and you'll believe.
