The following is some info you might like to know about us, rapid fire, and general gaming info:
Privacy: When you enter our shopping cart shop.promodz.com) where you purchase a controller, notice in the address bar (where you first typed in www.promodz.com) that in the beginning it says HTTPS. Most other websites are JUST Http.... no S. That S stands for Secure (secure sockets layer). Its another protocol primarily developed with secure, safe Internet transactions in mind. So when you navigate to a site such as Amazon, ProModz or eBay and you go to pay for something, through a secure shopping cart, you should see https in front of the URL. This indicates that you are now in a "secure session."
Trash Talking: We pride ourselves on not only being professional and acting in a business manner when playing video games online, but we also try and help kids learn to do the same. No one should have to play with people that want to run they're online gaming experience. i mean its video games... its meant to be fun, right?
Here's some common questions we received in the past that may help you:
Q: Can my child get banned or in trouble from using a "modded" controller?
A: No. Out of the thousands of controllers we've made, not ONE person has been banned or gotten trouble for playing with a ProModz controller. The technology we install into the controller actually makes it look as if you are using your finger instead of a microchip. Also, there is really NO WAY for anyone to prove that you have a mod. Our controllers are 100% undetectable and will never give you any issues on Xbox live.
Q: What is the difference between Dual Rapid Fire, Single Rapid Fire, and 8-Mode Stealth?
A: the easy answer? For Single and Dual rapid fire we install a TINY but sturdy button on the back side of their controller. They push that button and it shoots fast. As for Stealth, one would push a button on the controller and it would activate the RapidFire in the controller making it so all they have to do to shoot Rapid Fire is pull the Left or Right Trigger on their controller.
Q: On your Stealth Mod, what are "Modes"?
A: When your Stealth is turned on, you have the ability to cycle through 8 different modes. Each mode is game specific. so let's say they're in mode 3, that would mean that their controller is ready for Call of Duty 4. Mode 8, this makes it so whatever game they are playing there are 2 percise bursts from whatever weapon they are using. (See our demo videos for examples.)
Also, here are some Terms we use:
Mod: Something that is modified. On this site it refers to something added to a controller that was not on it before.
LED: (Light Emitting Diode) these are the lights on a controller that are usually GREEN. We can change them to almost any color.
Stealth Mod: Refers to a controller that has no sign of having rapid fire. Installed INTO the controller is a microchip, and to activate it you press the Sync or Connect button that comes stock on the xbox controller.
Undetectable: Some games can tell that you have Rapid Fire and will engage a RapidFire Blocker that will stunt the rapid fire. All ProModz.com's Stealth modz are Undetectable.
